Target announced\u00a0it will be launching an exclusive lifestyle and home goods brand developed by \u201cFixer Upper\u201d stars Chip and Joanna Gaines<\/a>, but not everyone is excited by the news.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Hearth and Hand<\/a>\u00a0line is set to launch Nov. 5, though based on social media responses, a lot of Chip and Joanna\u2019s fans won\u2019t be buying their new products. The HGTV stars are known for their conservative Christian views and people are calling them out for partnering with Target<\/a> because of the store\u2019s liberal-leaning policies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Terget announced last year\u00a0that transgender people can use the bathrooms and fitting rooms that best align with their gender identity, which many people are arguing is against Christian values. The\u00a0American Family Association<\/a>\u00a0has even gone so far as to\u00a0boycott Target, urging others to sign a petition promising to do the same.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responses to the Gaines new partnership with Target were harsh and many fans of the Gaines were not impressed by their decision to partner with the retailer.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
