These types of videos have been around for a long time, but they were mostly in the porn industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ui-sortable-handle\">Now that we are in the era of fake news and our president is a Twitter connoisseur, the\u00a0horrifying and crazy threat\u00a0of deepfakes to politicians and world leaders seems is among us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ui-sortable-handle\">BuzzFeed posted a tongue-in-cheek deepfake of <a href=\"https:\/\/awesomejelly.com\/after-leaving-office-obama-releases-hilarious-internet-video-titled-couch-commander\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President Obama<\/a> that was almost as horrifying as it was funny.
