It&#8217;s cold, seems refreshing and it&#8217;s just sort of cool &#8212; however &#8212; they are disgusting.<\/p>\n<p>A meteorologist in Iowa recently came across a TikTok video about eating icicles and she has a few things to say about it! One of those things is &#8212; icicles typically contain feces. That&#8217;s right. Bird poop. A lot of it.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Most icicles form on the edge of locations where there is runoff and they often pick up fecal matter in the process. Those frozen pieces of joy we see hanging on our ledges may be beautiful, but they are unsavory when you consider what is on the inside.<\/p>\n<p>But with that said&#8230;plenty of people eat icicles with no side effects.
