Yuengling partnered with the Hershey chocolate company last year to produce an incredibly tasty, chocolaty beer. The response was so great, that they decided to do it again this year. But this year, they are actually selling packs of the beer in stores throughout America! The first round of the beer was only sold as a draft.
The beer was released to the general public at the end of September. And by now, you should be able to find it at any number of locations in 22 U.S. States. The company is working on expanding to Western states, but you can check the beer finder to see if there’s a location near you that sells this iconic beer.
This year, you can still get a draft beer at your local bar, but taking a pack of it home is much more exciting!
The beer pairs well with Halloween candy and it’s the perfect after dinner beer! Finish off your Thanksgiving meal with one of these bad boys and you will more than likely nap the rest of the day away!
For those who were unable to get their hands on this beer the first time around, it is a truly first-class experience. The Dark Brewed Porter recipe has been infused with Hershey’s chocolate, adding a dark roasted malt flavor (and some caramel). The beer has a chocolatey finish and a 4.7% ABV. These special edition beers pair best with desserts (duh), cheeses, and barbecued meats, according to the brand.
“We heard our fans and saw consumers, near and far, scrambling to get their hands on a taste of Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter. So, in keeping with our 191-year tradition of listening to our loyal fans, we decided to release our Chocolate Porter across our entire footprint and in bottles for even more consumers 21+ to enjoy,” said Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations and sixth-generation brewer, D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., in a recent press release.
