A tragic call made by Sept. 11, 2001 victim CeeCee Lyles to her husband on 9/11 has been part of serious scrutiny over the last 18 years. This is in part, due to the nature of the last statement whispered in the phone at the very end of the call — ‘It’s a frame’.

CeeCee Lyles was a flight attendant on one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center that day. Her last phone placed and recorded on her husbands voicemail, was played in part, thousands upon thousands of times after the tragic events of 9/11 happened.

The phone call was ‘supposedly’ placed from UA flight 93 as the plane was being hijacked. However, many speculate that the phone call did not take place inside of an airplane, but rather on the ground, in a controlled environment.

Note: Lyles was a police officer for many years prior to ending her career in law enforcement and becoming a flight attendant just before the 9/11 attacks.

During the phone call, Lyles explains to her husband that the plane is being hijacked. This is all explained in a very calm voice, with very little urgency or shakiness. At the very end of the phone call, you can hear Lyles fiddling with the phone receiver or headset. This is when she whispers into the phone ‘It’s a frame’. The call abruptly ends.

Despite the last words spoken on that phone call, Lyles husband has shared his thoughts of the call many times in post 9/11 interviews. He states that he was completely shocked to receive a phone call from his wife while she was on the plane, because he knows that cell phones do not work on planes while travelling at the high altitudes in which planes travel.

The phone call has been at the root of many conspiracy theories as to what exactly took place on 9/11. From no evidence of a plane actually hitting the Pentagon, to no bodies or victims recovered from flight 93. We will let you be the judge.
