When you think of fine wine, you more than likely don’t think of bananas.
Banana wine is a thing and it is part of a classification of wine called ‘country wine’ which is typically alcohol that is made in rural parts of America…sort of like a fine moonshine wine!
There are quite a few ingredients that go into banana wine, ingredients such as brown sugar, tea and raisins. This gives the wine a rather complex flavor – so they say.
Those who enjoy banana wine say that it tastes like a banana(y) chardonnay.
