For the third time in five years, the Northern Maine Ice Busters attempted to break the record for the largest ice carousel in the world – and this time they did it!

Up until this past weekend, Finland held the record for an ice carousel that measured 1,692 feet in diameter. Now that record has been shattered with a 1776 foot rotating ice circle!

There is no doubt Finland is going to be pushing hard to regain the title! There is nothing like a little ice carousel competition to bring people together!
