The Super Bowl is well known for it’s unique commercials and at $5.5 million for a 30-second ad — they better be unique!

The company ‘Oatly’ paid a $5.5 million to showcase their product – oat milk – and the commercial was so bad, that it was actually good!

Oatly’s commercial, which featured their CEO singing a song in the middle of a field while playing the piano, and it has created quite the online stir.

The commercial’s song, which was written and performed by Toni Petersson, the CEO for Oatly, features certain lyrics like, “Wow no cow.”

According to AdAge, the little diddy was originally shown run as a commercial in Sweden back in 2014. However, for the Super Bowl it was brought back for advertising purposes.

Some were confused by the ad, some found it irritating, and some just found it funny. Regardless of what people thought, the Oatly brand jumped on the hype, selling an “I Totally Hated That Oatly Commercial” t-shirt on their website.

As bad as the song and singing was — it is actually brilliant marketing. The song is quite catchy and it’s so bad that people can’t help but talk about it!
