We live in a world where nothing is safe anymore. From people licking ice cream as the grocery store, to tampering with people’s brand new hair products.
The latter was such the case for on Wisconsin woman recently. Ashley Timm purchased a bottle of conditioner from her local Walmart, sounds normal right? One would think so!
Ashley purchased the bottle of Pantene Pro-V’s Sheer Volume Conditioner and thought she was good to go! Just another normal purchase from the big box store. But it wasn’t until Ashley opened the bottle and used it in the shower, that she realized that something was wrong.
Her mother took to Facebook to share the experience and warn others.

As Ashley was washing her hair out, using the new conditioner — her hair started to fall out.
There was clearly some sort of hair removal cream inside that bottle of conditioner. Ashley was left with patches of hair and bald spots after her shower.
Ashley ultimately had to shave her head. In addition to shaving her head, she also had to make a trip to the emergency room as her scalp was extremely red, burning and all messed up!
According to Timm’s Go Fund Me page, “It is believed that the conditioner was tampered with and someone put some sort of chemical depilatory cream inside of it, such as Nair or Veet. It should be noted that Ashley lives alone and there is no way someone could have tampered with the product when it was in her home.”
