We have all encountered this – you have a craving for cereal, you go and make yourself a bowl and upon the first bite – you realize that the cereal is stale and gross. Someone didn’t close the cereal bag and didn’t shut the cereal box properly.
Ugh.
Luckily, there is a brilliant way to seal up a cereal box that will keep your cereal fresh and long lasting!
Normally when you are done with a box of cereal, you roll the bag inside and then close the top of the box. But what you really want to do is, fold the box so it resembles a milk carton!
Collapse three of the four cardboard pieces on top of each box into its opening. The two longer strips should remain turned up. From there, make sure that the two side panels are flipped inward so that a V shape is created.

In order to maintain that configuration, take the unfolded flap of cardboard and tuck it into the opposite flap. Just make sure that the opening is all sealed up and you are good to go!
