Fans of “The Walking Dead” already had their brains hooked on coronavirus and the similarities in regards to the plot of the show and comic book.

The AMC hit series and the comic book it’s based on focuses on a virus that infects people, kills them and then turns people into zombies.

But now, the COVID-19 and “The Walking Dead” have an actual eerie connection. Fans of the show have pointed out that “The Walking Dead” begins with Rick Grimes waking up at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Kentucky (the comic book begins in Kentucky, not Atlanta like the TV series).

It just so happens that Kentucky recently confirmed its first case of coronavirus in, of all places, Harrison Memorial Hospital. Does this mean we’re on the verge of a zombie apocalypse. Umm, probably not! But that doesn’t mean fans of the show are not scratching their heads about the odd connection.

As if that connection wasn’t enough…in case you’re wondering, the CDC (Like, the real CDC) has recommendations for combating zombies. So, there’s that.
