After President Trump and staff contracted COVID-19, the White House isn’t taking any chances when it comes to welcoming President elect Joe Biden and his administration.
In what is being dubbed as an “Inaugural Cleaning”, the White House is dropping big money to sanitize and clean the grounds at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
The ‘Inaugural Cleaning’ will cost roughly $127,000 and the White House claims it is the most intense ‘Inaugural Cleaning’ ever done.
But…the $127,000 for the “Inaugural Cleaning” is just part of the cleaning costs. The government’s also spending $44k just to clean all of the carpets at The White House. The carpet cleaning is in a separate procurement document so it seems the $44k is in addition to the $127k.
That must be one hell of a maid service!
