First on the list is the Victoria’s Secret Angel, Josephine Skriver-Karlsen (@josephineskriver), with over six million followers. The lovely Instagram star was born in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1993, and she was discovered by an international modeling agency based in Denmark’s capital when she was only 15. Though Josephine was soon approached by many other agencies outside her country, she decided to first finish school, and she officially began her modeling career in 2011 when she opened for Alberta Ferretti and closed for Prada in the year’s Fall/Winter season. Josephine is also the co-creator of JoJa, another widely followed Instagram account she formed with her best friend, Jasmine Tookes. Joja features not only videos of different yoga exercises and workouts but photos of the Danish model sporting skintight leggings and flaunting her excellent form and rock-hard abs. Raised by a gay marine biologist and a lesbian IT analyst, Josephine actively supports LGBT rights and is a celebrity ambassador for the Family Equality Council, a nonprofit organization which aims to raise awareness about the LGBTQ community.
