The best strategy for keeping your pup still and relaxed while you give them a “paw-dicure?” is ‘distraction! Nurse and model Lindsey Shelton has come up with a brilliant hack for this situation, and you’re going to want to try it out on your canine ASAP.
The idea may sound and look silly, but it’s incredibly genius! First, you wrap your head in plastic wrap. Next, you smear peanut butter all over your head. When you bend over to clip your dogs nails, they will be distracted by licking the peanut butter off of your head. Just remember, don’t use any peanut butter that has chocolate in it, because chocolate is quite dangerous to dogs.
