Kristen Fox is a 42-year-old mother of two and high school principal in Ohio.

Back in 2020 Kristen had a sore throat and she wasn’t feeling the greatest. She went to the doctors and she was given Tamiflu and send home. The next day, Kristen was unable to get off of the sofa.

Kristen’s friend stopped over and took her blood pressure and oxygen levels, which were incredibly low. Kristen rushed to the hospital and she was placed on a ventilator. It wasn’t looking good for her.

Kristen had developed bacterial pneumonia. This lowers oxygen levels and causes organs to fail. Her Kidney began shutting down and one of her lungs had collapsed.

Kristen became septic and doctors didn’t think she was going to make it. They advised her family of this and said that they would have to amputate some fingers and toes in order to keep her organs from failing 100%. Sadly, Kristen would lose both arms and both legs. She was able to recover and was release from the hospital a few months later.

Fox now has prosthetic legs and arms, but has since learned to live without using arms at all. She even drives without them.
