This is exactly what is wrong with the public education system. It’s crazy to think that a good, hard working, loving teacher would be fired from her job, for such ridiculousness. This worlds is going crazy with entitlement and cry babies.
This is quite the controversial story.
Florida teacher Diane Tirado was fired because she refused to give students a 50% grade on work that was never even turned in. Instead, Mrs. Tirado gave them zeros.
The internet wasn’t sure what to think after she shared the story of her firing.
She refused to grade kids who didn’t hand in assignments with anything more than a zero.
Her decision went against ‘school policy’.
And that was something that Mrs. Tirado just couldn’t get behind.
“A grade in Mrs. Tirado’s class is earned.”
“I’m so upset because we have a nation of kids that are expecting to get paid and live their life just for showing up and it’s not real.”
And with her final goodbye — she wrote a message to her students on the white board.
