What is wrong with these kids now a days?

A Michigan teacher had a terrifying incident at work this week when a student threw a metal chair at her, rendering her unconscious.

Thursday afternoon in a classroom at Flint’s Southwestern Classical Academy, the horrifying episode was caught on video.

Watch the video where the teacher is addressing her class as one of the kids shouts at her from the other side of the room.

It’s unclear what the disagreement is about, but eventually the student grabs up the chair and hurls it at the teacher, who is struck in the head and falls to the ground like a bag of rocks.

After being taken to a hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, the woman was eventually discharged.

Kevelin Jones, the superintendent of Southwestern Academy, informed parents of the assault in a letter, describing it as a “physical altercation between two scholars” that left the instructor injured.

Jones did not mention in the letter if the disruptive student was detained by police or disciplined by the school.
