Mayweather won the fight after knocking out McGregor in 10 of 12 rounds of fighting. Through the first 4 rounds, Mayweather seemed to let McGregor wear himself out, only blocking blows and tossing up very few punches. When the 5th round started, Mayweather started to kick into high gear, landing jabs and combo punches that would ultimately prove too much for McGregor to handle.
