Actor revisits his Home Alone character for premiere episode of :DRYVRS
When we think about the movie Home Alone we can’t help but sympathize with Kevin McCallister. I mean, after all, he was forgotten about by his family, left home alone for a week during Christmas and had to endure a plethora of shit that entire week. It is only natural that Kevin would grow up to have some serious mental and emotional issues.
In fact, that’s just how Macaulay Culkin plays him in the premiere episode of the new web series :DRYVRS. Created by and starring Jack Dishel of Only Son/The Moldy Peaches (and also Regina Spektor’s husband), the series chronicles one man’s strange encounters with ride-share drivers. On his first journey, he’s picked up by a highly irritated Culkin, and it slowly becomes clear that he’s back in the McCallister role.
The video is dark, comical and pretty awesome! I always wondered what happened to little Kevin later in life!
