Getting married and then finding out you are pregnant is quite the exciting time…that is…if you didn’t also find out that you married and made sweet love with your cousin.
Marcella Hill shared her story on TikTok. She began the clip by saying ‘I accidentally married my cousin’. She then explained that she was looking at her family tree along side her husband. The pair were using their family tree to spark up ideas for baby names. Marcella read aloud names of family members and when she rattled off the names of her grandmother and grandfather, her husband said, “Oh that’s funny, we have the same grandma and grandpa’s names.”
Marcella then glanced her husbands family tree and realized her grandpa is actually his grandma’s first cousin. She called her grandfather and her husband called his grandmother and they both confirmed the story. This making the married pair third cousins.

Other commenter’s wondered how the couple didn’t realize they were cousins at the wedding. Marcella made a follow up video stating that her and her husband got married at a courthouse without family present.
