People on Twitter have been calling out travel blogger @tupisaravia for editing the same clouds into a lot of her Instagram pictures.

Social media consultant Matt Navarra first noticed the Photoshopping on his feed, taking to Twitter to share screenshots of Tupi’s photographs and flag how the sky looked coincidentally similar in four different photos.

“This travel ‘influencer’ spookily has the same clouds in every photo,” Matt wrote and shared with his 50k plus followers.

Travel influencer Tupi Saravia of Buenos Aires has ammassed 292k Instagram followers, and often shares photographs from her trips all over the globe. After checking out a few of her photos, it is clear that they are heavily edited and the same exact clouds/sky appear in many of her photos.

Tupi however, doesn’t deny the claim that most of her photos are heavily edited. She admits to using an app to edit and enhance her photos prior to posting online.

“I’ve always been honest about using this app called Quickshot to help the composition of my photos,” she tells us. “I never lied about it or underestimate my audience – you can actually see in my highlight stories (from a month ago) how I openly edit the sky in my pics, and I show a before / after.”

She continued, “Maybe I just need to change the sky I pick – but I kinda like the one I use!”

Tupi went on to share how she feels there is nothing wrong with editing her photos. She feels it adds to artistic value of them.

“The reality is that anyone who works from social media tries to brighten up the images they present to the world,” she finished. “I believe adding a few clouds It’s the most innocuous kind of compositing one could possibly do..”

We live in a world where what you see online, most often times is fake. We don’t see anything wrong with enhancing photos for a purpose. But hey, at least she is super honest!
