These fair-weather friends will only call you when they need you but are never there for you when you need them. In fact, it is always about them, 100% of the time. They are users or parasites who don’t want to use their own resources, so they’ll contact you to use yours. They are abusive and will take advantage of your kindness and generosity. For sure, they’ll be grateful you’re there when they need you, but when it’s your turn to ask for help, they’ll see your needs as a nuisance. They will always prioritize their wants, and they’ll never take your needs seriously because your needs are not relevant to their personal agenda. If ever they do help you, they will not fail to remind you that you owe them, and the “payment” they’ll demand from you soon will ensure they get everything they want from you.
