5. Finding a Substitute

Sometimes, our periods don’t come right on schedule. They can come earlier, which is always such an inconvenience. That’s because we often aren’t prepared with an extra pad or tampon. We’d be lucky if we could find a friend who could spare us one until we can head to the grocery and get our own supply. And if we really can’t get anything, we all know what we do. We head to the nearest toilet, get a wad of toilet paper that we can roll many times over, and use that as a temporary pad.
