Much like the Bengal cat, the Savannah breed was also cultured from the wild African cat, as explained by the spots on his body. Plus the fact that this cat grows very large in size, even weighing up to 30 pounds, makes it look more like a jungle cat than it does a domesticated one. Most of the time when people see this type of cat lounging around, it feels like a wild cat got lost and landed on your couch, especially since much of its ancestry remains deep within this breed’s blood as well.
