You might have seen the image of a man standing under a slipping Walmart sign circulating the web recently. The picture was circulating with a caption that read “waiting for the P to fall and knock [him] out to be able to sue Walmart.”Many thought it was joke…but it was far from a joke.
Manuel Garcia posted to Facebook a photo of him standing under a dangling “p” at a local Texas Walmart.
However, Garcia’s Facebook suggested he was unsuccessful in his attempt to sue Walmart and decided to go back to the same spot the next day.
In the second photo, Garcia was seen wearing a different shirt.
The caption under the picture read: “Day 2 still waiting.”
This may have been a good plan…however…publicizing his efforts to scam Walmart and gaining nearly 500,000 views on that post, likely killed his case.
