Some of you may have experienced this abusive behavior. Meddling with how you handle your posts or setting rules about what you can’t do, is really none of their business. It’s like constantly checking your phone, an invasion of your privacy. They may reason out that it is for your own protection, but you are being treated like a naive kid, and they don’t trust you. If your partner is with the FBI or CIA then maybe it may be justified, but if not, you are being abused. Don’t take it lightly, respect your individuality. Don’t let them cross the line, or you will be miserable. Protect yourself, and stand your ground. Explain to them that in the same way you don’t meddle with them regarding their social media behavior, they should not meddle with yours. Never let it be one-sided.
