Threats Because They Are Upset With You

This is opposite the silent treatment, and probably more alarming. When a person threatens you, it is usually because they can’t control their emotions and are willing to go all out. Hopefully, it is not life-threatening. Your partner may have a temper you did not realize early on, and threatening you is a manifestation of this deadly temper. For example, you are having a discussion which leads to an argument, and your partner threatens you to shut you up, be very concerned. Simpla threats like revealing a secret about you to your friends, or not letting you know about your shared financial resources. Threats can come in many forms, but people who love each other do not threaten each other, simple as that.
