Frantisek Hadrava spent two years and $4000 building his own airplane so he could shave 7-minutes off of his commute to work.
The plane has one seat and only one propeller. Frantisek’s commute to work normally takes 15-minutes by car, but by plane it only takes him roughly 5-minutes. However, Frantisek takes a small detour so he is not to disturb villagers during his early commute, therefore adding two extra minutes to his commute.
