After walking for hours on the strip and feeling your legs like jelly, don’t think you can just hail a taxi anywhere on the Strip to take you to wherever. Due to the traffic and dangers posed by fast-moving vehicles on the street to pedestrians (especially the intoxicated ones), the city has made it illegal to hail a taxi on the Strip. You will just have to soldier on and get to the designated pick up points or taxi stands like entrances to restaurants, hotels, or casinos to get one.
