Tough stains are really difficult to get rid off, especially if left uncleaned for some time. Rug stains are difficult to clean because of the texture of the rugs or carpets. They tend to absorb the stain in the material. Hydrogen Peroxide to the rescue – spray it on, and brush the stains away. But take note to only do this on light colored carpets. If you use Hydrogen Peroxide on dark colored rugs, you could end up bleaching them and creating a worse problem. The bleached portion will remain there. So take be careful, and be aware.
