Similar to whitening your teeth, Hydrogen Peroxide can help lighten your nails. It will also clean them free of bacteria. All you need to do is add a few drops of it on a cotton ball and dab it unto your nails. Another way is to mix three tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide in ½ cup of water. Soak your nails for about 2-3 minutes. Then gently scrub your nails before rinsing them with water. You will notice the nails have a brighter appearance immediately. They will look lighter and cleaner too.
