I can recall many years ago at the ripe age of 15, working for McDonald’s part time. I can also remember that there was a proper way to dispose of the fry oil/grease and it wasn’t down our parking lot’s storm drain.
A Lake Worth, Texas man recently filmed a Burger King Employee disposing of the used cooking oil down a storm drain. I will inform you before you watch he video, that the man who recorded this is rather annoying and repetitive, so beware. I clearly understand the point he is trying to make, but he does get a tad excited to share it with the world.
The employee, an older man states that his boss advised him to dump the grease down the drain. Now, clearly this is an environmental issue, but sadly this employee probably doesn’t have a choice if he wants to keep his job.
We are unsure at this time whether or not the Burger King manager was reprimanded for this incident, but he most definitely should be!
