Back in 2007 and 2008, Britney was constantly scrutinized for her very erratic behavior. Although she was often photographed by the paparazzi out, drinking and partying with her very good friend, Paris Hilton, it was after Britney’s infamous head shaving, paparazzi umbrella incident, and when she had locked herself in her home with one of her young sons that supposedly caused her father to file for a conservatorship over his obviously problematic daughter. This would also prove to be so strange since she was mostly estranged from her father at that time. She was first placed under what is called a 5150 Hold, which allows a person to be held for up to 72 hours against their will after they are deemed to have a mental disorder, or if they are seen to be harmful to themselves or others. But who knew that this temporary act was going to go on for more than a decade?
