While this racoon looks completely camera ready, despite the lack of a smile, his deer friends behind him couldn’t be bothered to stop grazing and pose for the camera. But in all seriousness, one of the most interesting things about this photo is the fact that racoons and deer actually hang out in the same areas, mingling about. Who would have thought that this normally mostly solitary animal enjoyed the company of these giant four-legged herbivores? I guess it’s because he knows he’s not their dinner.
