So many rumors about Charles’ infidelity were slowly ebbing away at Diana’s sanity, but for the sake of her children, she tried to remain publicly cheerful. But it was obvious to many, especially the press that caught her in inopportune times, that underneath the downcast eyes and half meant kisses, Diana was coming undone and was becoming incredibly unsteady in her marriage and in herself. And from this picture alone, it didn’t look like she really wanted Charles’ affection at all.
