By the time she and Charles divorced, Diana gave up a lot of her royal duties, only keeping a few charities under her belt. Her children were her true happiness and really, her number one priority, and despite growing up so forcefully in the spotlight, she tried to give them as normal a childhood as possible, given that her first born son would one day become King of England, just like his father before him.
