Travolta, who was 37 at the time, said “She came in this, this gorgeous woman. We had immediate chemistry.” And Preston, on the other hand, said, “I see, no lie, coming across the hall with his two dogs, this really hot guy. Then he stops and says hello. And I was like, ‘Oh s—t. Kill me now.’ You know, like, ‘Oh my God.’ And that was my first meeting with him.” Years later they would meet again and Travolta even told Preston, “He always said he waited for me,” and they have been together ever since.
