Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are one of those Hollywood couples that have defied the odds by actually staying married. The two met after Sedgwick, then 12, approached Bacon at a deli after having watched him in a play that he starred in. Bacon told host Craig Ferguson back in 2014, “A little girl was in there who had just seen the matinee, and her brother said, ‘You liked that actor, go tell him you liked him,’ and it was Kyra.” Given their 8-year age gap, they didn’t start dating just yet, for very obvious reasons, but they did eventually meet again on the 1988 movie set of Lemon Sky, and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.
