Ruben Studdard and Zuri McCants

Although the name Ruben Studdard might not jog your memory, he was actually the winner of Season 2 of American Idol. He even went on to release a Platinum-status earning album afterwards, but his career never truly soared in the way people thought it would. He and his now ex-wife, Zuri McCants, had met in a parking lot in Walmart after an autograph signing back in 2006. Studdard explained, “We became instant friends and dated, got engaged, and married.” Although they were married for at least 6 years, as mentioned earlier, their marriage didn’t last. And to make things even more surprising, McCants didn’t get a single thing in their divorce due to the prenup she signed before they got married.
