Since depression can bring on an array of emotions, like strange and discombobulated feelings or sudden unexplained behavior, can also be a symptom of depression. Such things like a person who ends up drinking in excess, or choosing to dabble in substance abuse when they never did before could be due to depression. Or maybe if they happen to begin compulsively gambling or attempting to do dangerous sports, or anything else that would otherwise just put their life in danger, depression could be the reason for doing such outrageous things.
