Formerly known as the Milwaukee Art Center, it features the Quadracci Pavilion, which serves as an ultra-cool venue, literally and figuratively, for weddings, as it has a movable brise soleil – an elaborate wing-like mechanism that reduces heat by deflecting sunlight. Accommodating as much as 300 guests, the venue also allows the use of the Windover Hall with its 90-foot high glass roof, the Baumgartner Terrace, the Schroeder & Baumgartner Gallerias, as well as the Cudahy Gardens with its green lawns and plazas connected by a water channel that produces a water curtain that dances and sparkles with the fiber optic lights.
