Never Leave Items Inside Your Rental

The crime rate in Aruba is low, it is a very safe place to visit. However, if you decide to rent a car while in Aruba, never leave your items inside your rental, or in plain sight at least. Petty theft and crime is still prevalent on the island, more so in certain areas. But leaving things of value in plain sight might be too tempting for some, so best to bring your things with you when able, or at least hide them well. It would be best to leave your expensive jewelry in your safe inside your hotel room whenever you enjoy the outdoors. And instead of leaving your mobile, digital camera and other small items when you enjoy the outdoors, you may want to get a personal travel vault. It beats leaving someone just sitting to watch over your stuff.
