Selfie sticks are everywhere, and people use these to take better photos. However, Disney just implemented this rule fairly recently. Why? Because the sticks extend far, allowing the photographer to take a group shot with him and her in the shot. And because these long sticks go far and are built to be quite sturdy, they obstruct the view and pose as a danger to the other guests.
