There are a ton of movies that showed off the epic 80s in the best way possible like ‘16 Candles,’ ‘Pretty In Pink,’ ‘The Breakfast Club,’ and ‘Weird Science.’ But out of all, kids seemed to love ‘Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’ due to the fact that Bueller, the character played by Matthew Broderick, managed to get away with feigning sickness, getting his mom’s sympathy, stealing his best friend’s dad’s car, getting the girl, and spending the day exploring Chicago, making him everyone’s role model. And it’s also why kids up to today still love everything about this movie because geez, who wouldn’t want to be able to pull off the perfect way to cut class?
