What on earth were these people thinking? The entire theme of the commercial is not only tasteless, but at the end of the low budget commercial, the two dweebs in the background fall into two towers of mattress, causing them to fall. Clearly simulating the fall of the twin towers on 9/11.  While the fall is taking place, the mattress queen in the middle acts foolishly like she can’t believe what is happening. Because two falling stacks of shitty mattresses is quite similar to the twin towers falling.

Now the San Antonio, Texas mattress store will be closed “indefinitely” after their commercial was posted on social media just days before the 15th anniversary of 9/11 and ignited a firestorm of criticism.

“We will be silent through the 9/11 Anniversary to avoid any further distractions from a day of recognition and remembrance for the victims and their families,” the owner of Miracle Mattress, Mike Bonanno, said in a statement posted on the store’s Facebook page on Friday.

Employees of the store had also received several death threats after the 20-second spot was released.

I still can’t believe people are this idiotic.
