Taking Care Of That 10%

In this day and age, you can’t take any chances with your health that’s why the hospital went the “extra mile” to take care of that remaining 10% to make sure the guys gets 100%.  Those three hours of tests made all the difference.  In the US, if you call 911 and an ambulance is sent, there will be no charge for the EMTs or the Paramedics to examine you.  And should you refuse to take the ride to the hospital, there should be no charge.  But ambulances can be expensive due to the medical supplies such as the sterile gloves, needles, IV supplies, catheters, and saline that were used during the trip and these can add hundreds or even thousands of dollars to the final bill.  Also, if a critical care nurse or respiratory therapist is needed during the ambulance ride, it can add hundreds of dollars to the cost.
