What do you call the fear of receiving mail? I would have to look that up. I can imagine the reasons that would lead someone to develop this fear, but it wouldn’t take a lot to conclude that receiving mail such as this one qualifies. Other reasons why people may be afraid of opening the mail can include anthrax, letter bombs, junk mail, certified mail from lawyers, important mail for someone that you need to deal with, rejection letters, sales on items that you still can’t afford, and returned mail for insufficient postage.
