The Band-Aid Covered It All

Thankfully this person was not given the sterilized gauze that has to be taped to cover what the band-aid did.  You can just imagine how much THAT would cost.   Band-Aid is a popular brand of adhesive bandages dispersed by Johnson & Johnson, an American pharmaceutical and medical-devices company.   Since being invented in 1920, the brand has become a generic term for adhesive bandages in the United States and Australia.  A European counterpart of this is the Elastoplast, which like Band-Aid, has become a genericized trademark as well.  This respondent is from Detroit, Michigan and joined Twitter in January 2015.
