The Long Visit

If you want to put a positive spin on this, you may think that the establishment is really efficient that 5 minutes is already considered a long visit.  I wonder how they would refer to a patient that gets admitted overnight.  On the average, a regular routine appointment with a primary care doctor, without any other tests involved, can cost patients between $150 and $300 without insurance.  But if the visit is made at an emergency room, the cost can shoot up to $375 to more than $700 without insurance.  Doctor visits at home can be from $200 to $550, but it depends on how far the doctor has to travel and what needs to be diagnosed or checked.
