Even the biggest and best hotel pools in places like the Carribean and Vegas sometimes seem on the small side, so if you are in the mood for something a little bigger than perhaps a half a mile long pool may float your boat.

Plus, your boat will have plenty of room to float in a deep end that’s a whopping 135 feet deep. Hot damn.

This mammoth map of water is located at a private resort in Chile, called the San Alfonso del Mar.

Covering 20 acres in total, this .6 mile long pool swallows up around 66,000,000 gallons of filtered seawater from the Pacific.

This is the perfect place to lounge and float, feeling like you are truly in the middle of nowhere.
